The Regenerative Toolkit
Practices for Community and Personal Resilience in the Age of Climate Change
Hello there sunshine! After a little summer hiatus, we’re back and ready for action. The past few months have allowed me a tremendous amount of reflection and intention-setting. I have so much to share with this community - big life updates, some of my new favorite tools within the climate movement, and mindset-shifting techniques to make living ecologically more seamless. But before we dive into those, I’d like to share with you a few in-person opportunities to connect with environmentally-minded community this fall.
Find Me at Climate Week NYC
You’re Invited to The Regenerative Toolkit Workshop!
I have been presented with the tremendous opportunity to host “The Regenerative Toolkit” a Climate Week NYC workshop with my dear friend Maia Kiley, a certified eco-therapist. We’ve designed this workshop with the values and intentions this community holds dear. I am thrilled to share these practices and tools with all of you.
Please join us Thursday, September 21 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Vinegar Hill Community Garden in Brooklyn, NYC during Climate Week NYC.
This 1.5-hour experiential workshop during NYC climate week presents clear regenerative practices. Participants will build a comprehensive toolkit of skills to generate personal and community resilience. Licensed psychotherapist Maia Kiley and climate activist Lindsay Nunez take you through five clear steps. These include:
Mindset
Narrative
Role in the movement
Embodiment (being present in your body)
Community participation
This rich, powerful workshop gives you a framework to live resiliently in the city during the age of climate change.
If you plan to be in NYC for Climate Week, be sure to escape the hustle and bustle of the Manhattan Climate Week events and reground yourself with us at the Vinegar Hill Community Garden in Brooklyn. This is an opportunity to not only gain skills and tools for more regenerative living but to also reconnect to your purpose within the climate movement surrounded by the lush green environment of the Vinegar Hill Community Garden.
