If you are one of the 100 million Americans placed under extreme heat warning last week or one of the Europeans and citizens of the global south experiencing record-breaking heat while combating wildfires, this one is for you. This summer we are actively experiencing the effects of climate change. So this week we are exploring how to cool off yourself and the planet.
It’s been in the 100s in Tulsa for 3 weeks now. My shades are all drawn except for one that my pup looks out from her sofa perch and the one with plants. I keep my ceiling fans running nonstop and one split set at 78 during the day (which means my flat is 80), and then turn that off at night. I walk my dog before 8am or after 10. Climate change is real and we’ve been heading in this direction for decades. 😔🥵🔥
